Kevin Holladay quick facts

Performed in his first play at age 7 (Munchkin:  Wizard of Oz)
Started taking private acting lessons at age 9
Started writing and performing sketch comedy at age 13
Wrote my first full length play (94 pages) at age 17
Received a degree in Playwriting from Indiana University in 1988
Went on to serve on the Bloomington Area Arts Council and on the Board of Directors at the                 Bloomington Playwright’s Project
Has had plays produced in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, L.A., Orlando, Florida,                         London, and Edingburgh, Scotland
Became a clown for the Gentry Bros. Circus in 1990.
Went on to clown in 6 circuses, including performing with Circus America at the 1996 Olympic             Games
Stood on stage, dressed as a clown, at the 1996 Olympic Torch lighting ceremony
Served as the Artistic Director of the High Flyers Family Circus and Circus Geographica
Taught circus arts with The National Circus Project in New York for 3 years
Taught kindergarten for 8 years
Toured the eastern U.S., performing for kids as a storyteller and singer/songwriter for more than            a decade
Earned a Parents’ Choice Award, National Parenting Publications Honors, and FOUR Children’s           Music Web Awards, including Best New Artist of the Year in 2005, with his recordings for young           audiences.  www.cdbaby.com/all/campfirekev
Has worked directly with over 15,000 students in theater and circus arts in the last 20 years
Has taken plays of his creation to Fringe festivals in Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Chicago, and                   Edinburgh, Scotland

Wrestled with the Rockin-Wrestling-Federation (RWF) for 5 years as the “61 pounds of pure                 terror” known as ANTMAN
